Mountain flight to Lukla. Trek to Phakding along the Dudh Koshi. Trek: 3-4 hrs.
Enter Sagarmatha National Park. Steep climb to Namche with first Everest views. Trek: 5-6 hrs.
Day hike to Everest View Hotel and Khumjung village. Visit Sherpa museum. Day hike: 3-4 hrs.
Trek to Tengboche Monastery with stunning Ama Dablam views. Evening prayer ceremony. Trek: 5-6 hrs.
Descend to Pangboche, cross the river, climb to Dingboche in the Imja Khola valley. Trek: 5-6 hrs.
Day hike to Nagarjun Hill (5,100m). Views of Makalu, Lhotse, Island Peak, and Ama Dablam. Day hike: 3-4 hrs.
Short trek east to Chhukung at the base of Island Peak. Views of the massive Lhotse South Face. Trek: 3-4 hrs.
First high pass! Steep climb over rocky terrain and glacier, rewarded with incredible views of Everest, Pumori, and Makalu from the top. Descend to Lobuche. Trek: 7-8 hrs.
Trek to Gorak Shep, continue to Everest Base Camp. See the Khumbu Icefall. Return to Gorak Shep. Trek: 7-8 hrs.
Pre-dawn Kala Patthar for the iconic Everest sunrise. Descend and trek west to Dzongla at the base of Cho La. Trek: 7-8 hrs.
Second high pass! Cross glacier and steep rocky terrain. Stunning views of Cholatse and Taboche. Descend to Thagnag in the Gokyo valley. Trek: 7-8 hrs.
Short trek to Gokyo village by the third (largest) turquoise lake. Afternoon rest or explore the lake. Trek: 2-3 hrs.
Pre-dawn Gokyo Ri summit for 360° panorama of 4 peaks above 8,000m. Afternoon explore fourth and fifth Gokyo Lakes. Hike: 5-6 hrs.
Third and final pass! Spectacular views of Everest, Gokyo Lakes below, and the Tibetan plateau. Descend to Lungden. Trek: 7-8 hrs.
Descend through yak pastures to the historic Sherpa village of Thame birthplace of Tenzing Norgay. Visit Thame Monastery. Trek: 5-6 hrs.
Scenic walk back to Namche through the Bhote Koshi valley. Final evening in Namche celebrate the completion of three passes! Trek: 3-4 hrs.
Final trek day descending to Lukla. Farewell dinner. Trek: 5-6 hrs.
Morning flight to Kathmandu. Free afternoon. Optional Kathmandu sightseeing.
