Pickup from NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport. Scenic 3-hour drive through winding mountain roads, tea gardens, and toy train tracks to Darjeeling. Check in to hotel. Evening stroll on Mall Road and Chowrasta.
Pre-dawn drive to Tiger Hill (2,590m) for the legendary sunrise over Kanchenjunga and a distant view of Everest on clear days. Visit Batasia Loop and War Memorial, Ghoom Monastery, and the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway (Toy Train ride from Ghoom to Darjeeling).
Visit the Happy Valley Tea Estate — walk through the lush green rows, learn the art of tea plucking, and sample Darjeeling's finest first-flush brews. Afternoon visits to the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park (Red Panda!), and Tenzing & Hillary Mountaineering Museum.
Visit the stunning Rock Garden and Ganga Maya Park — a multi-tiered garden with waterfalls and terraced pathways. Japanese Peace Pagoda for panoramic views. Afternoon free for shopping — Darjeeling tea, woolen shawls, and Tibetan handicrafts.
