Pickup from NJP station or Bagdogra Airport. Scenic 4-hour drive through the Teesta River valley to Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim. Check in to your hotel. Evening walk along MG Marg โ Gangtok's charming pedestrian avenue lined with shops and cafes.
Visit Rumtek Monastery (the largest in Sikkim), the Institute of Tibetology, Do Drul Chorten (stupa), and the Namgyal Institute. Afternoon visit to Ganesh Tok and Tashi Viewpoint for panoramic views of Kanchenjunga. Evening at MG Marg for local momos and thukpa.
Drive to Tsomgo Lake (3,753m) โ a sacred glacial lake surrounded by snowy peaks. Continue to Nathula Pass (4,310m) โ the Indo-China border crossing with stunning panoramic views (Indian nationals only; foreigners visit Tsomgo + Baba Mandir). Visit the Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir on the way back.
Drive through the scenic mountain roads to Pelling in West Sikkim (5 hours). En route visit Temi Tea Garden โ Sikkim's only tea estate. Arrive in Pelling with dramatic views of Kanchenjunga right from your hotel room.
Early morning visit to the Skywalk for panoramic Kanchenjunga views. Explore Pemayangtse Monastery (one of the oldest in Sikkim), Rabdentse Ruins (ancient capital), and the stunning Khecheopalri Lake โ known as the "Wish-Fulfilling Lake."
After breakfast, drive back to Siliguri/NJP/Bagdogra (5 hours). Optional: Connect to Darjeeling tour or cross to Nepal via our Siliguri office.
