Tiger sightings are rare but possible Chitwan has around 100 Bengal tigers. Rhinos are commonly spotted. Your best chance is during the dry season (Oct-Mar) when vegetation is thinner and animals come to water sources.

October to March is best dry weather, cooler temperatures, and animals gather near water sources making them easier to spot. Avoid June-August when monsoon rains flood parts of the park.
